Val di Fassa
(Canazei, Campitello, Alba & Penia)
Canazei, the largest village in the Fassa Valley, offers a wealth of accommodation and is renowned for its Italian hospitality, vibrant après-ski scene, and rich cultural heritage. Located amidst the breathtaking Dolomites, the village features the Belvedere gondola, which provides access to the famous Sella circuit.
The nearby hamlet of Alba offers direct links to the Sellaronda via the Col dei Rossi cable car.
For skiing enthusiasts, Penia is a sunlit gem with intermediate and advanced runs, and also connects to the Sellaronda circuit, whereas Campitello provides a more traditional and relaxed atmosphere with easy access to the Col Rodella cable car for mountain exploration.
In Canazei, the vibrant center is home to a variety of bars and restaurants that cater to diverse tastes, ranging from traditional Tyrolean cuisine to international flavors. Visitors can enjoy terrace cafes that provide a cozy atmosphere for relaxing while taking in stunning mountain views.
Campitello, sitting to the west of Canazei, is great for a traditional and more relaxed stay with direct access onto the mountain via the Col Rodella cable car.
The local culinary scene also includes ice cream parlors, pizzerias, and fine dining establishments. After a day on the slopes, patrons can unwind at the unique Dòlaondes indoor water park and spa, which features six pools, including an outdoor one with picturesque vistas, alongside a water slide, fitness area, and a bar serving delicious food and drinks, enhancing the overall après-ski experience.
