Nendaz is a friendly and relaxed village in the Four Valleys. It offers great access to the skiing as well as providing plenty of activities for the non-skier. Rising high above Nendaz at 3,300m, the Mont-Fort symbolises the peak of the 4-Valleys domain that offers 412 km of pistes and 92 ski installations. Due to its exceptionalscenery, the Mont-Fort is also an excursion point for non-skiers. It also meets the needs of freeriders who are in search of freedom, untouched nature and powder snow. In Nendaz, freeriding has formed part of the local culture for a number of years. From Nendaz it’s possible to get to Siviez by shuttle bus service included in the all-inclusive ski package or by car. A veritable crossroads of ski domains, Siviez allows you to ski in the direction of Nendaz, Veysonnaz, Thyon or Verbier.
The slopes are many and varied in this area, with the nursery slopes situated high above Nendaz at 2\'220m on the frozen lake at Tracouet. Intermediates, with well over 200km of terrain, will never be bored or without a challenge either close to Nendaz or in the wider area of the Four Valleys. Similarly experts have 12 black runs to choose from, as well as an expanse of off-piste. Pop over to Siviex via the ski bus to experience some challenging black mogul fields and itinerary routes. Snowboarders have a choice of parks or alternatively can take advantage of the area\'s naturally varied terrain and acres of untouched powder.
Back off the slopes there are plenty of other activities - walking, paragliding and tobogganing, to name a few. The apres ski is pretty lively for a small resort and features a range of piano bars, discos and relaxed cafes.
