WE say
With some beautiful period features, Chalet Kanjiroba has a fantastically rustic atmosphere, as well as being just a short walk from the lifts, it's a sought after chalet for guests on their mountain ski holiday.
This chalet is a real gem. With fixtures and fittings of the highest standards, beautiful reclaimed wood, funky (and comfortable!) furniture, VI sprung beds, duck feather duvets...nothing has been left to chance in Kanjiroba.
The lounge has a 65-inch Smart TV with British channels and internet access, plus a DVD Blu-ray player. The Master bedroom and bedroom 2 have TVs with the same British channels. There is also an integrated Sonos system, so you can play music from your gadgets, and as every TV is a smart TV, you can enjoy your favourite shows by simply logging in to your streaming app of choice and clicking play!
Chalet Kanjiroba was added to our programme for the 2014-15 season but is in fact one of the oldest properties in Val d'Isere, dating back to the 1700s. It sits on a quiet lane in La Daille, just 3 minutes walk from the lifts.
Chalet Kanjiroba is named after the 6883 metre high mountain in western Nepal where the owners spent their honeymoon...one of our more interesting names! Kanjiroba occupies a substantial section of a very large building.
It has its own separate entrance and is entirely self-contained. With well over 200m2 for only 10 guests, Chalet Kanjiroba is extremely spacious, classy and comfortable and has become a firm favourite with repeat guests.
The new owners of Kanjiroba were determined to make this an extremely smart chalet and they have indeed succeeded...
