The Alpina has Chamonix ski trips all sewn up, starting with the location – in the centre of town and only a few minutes’ walk from the slopes. Done skiing for the day? Inside, the hotel lives up to the eclectic part of its name, mixing classic wood and stone with bright red and yellow furniture and plenty of feature lighting to keep things feeling bright and spacious. It’s the same story in your bedroom too, where a quirky, footprint-patterned carpet leads you in from the doorway, and an oversized mountain print adds that ski-themed vibe.
