Choose between our self-catered properties, half-board or full-board options or of course our selection of catered Alpe d'Huez ski chalets. Some chalets in Alpe d'Huez are decorated with modern furnishings whereas others have a cosy, charming ambience. We are experts in booking catered ski holidays and have a wealth of knowledge about skiing & snowboarding in Alpe d'Huez so we can ensure you find a property ideal for your holiday.
The climate of this resort is completely perfect for avid skiers; on a clear day, you can survey a fifth of France from 3,300m, the resort’s highest point. Boasting 300 days of sunshine every year, you are almost guaranteed to have an excellent view. Skiers delight in the extended snow-sure period (lasting from before Christmas until well after Easter) due to the high altitude of Alpe d’Huez, and the 250km of marked pistes make the resort ever more popular. Boasting one of the world’s longest black runs, the Sarenne, and an extensive ski-lift system, it’s hard not to love this French skiing haven.
However, if you’re a beginner and you fancy staying in one of our Alpe d’Huez chalets, don’t let the challenging slopes intimidate you – there are plenty of options for less confident skiers. The centre of town is home to a brilliant selection of nursery slopes and a variety of red and blue runs for those at an intermediate level.
The Canyon and Balme pistes are slightly more testing, but there’s nothing to stop you if you’re feeling brave. For the experts, a fine choice of black runs is available, allowing you to ski from the very top of Glacier de Sarenne.
Alpe D'Huez also has a fantastic reputation for snowboarders, boasting a wide choice of off-piste action, a natural half pipe and fun park. Purchasing a lift pass will allow you to spend a day exploring and skiing in the nearby resorts of Les Deux Alpes, Puy St Vincent, Montgenèvre and Serre Chevalier.
Alpe d'Huez Ski Chalets
Even if you’re a non-skier staying in one of our Alpe d’Huez ski chalets, there is always something to keep you entertained. The large sports centre nearby offers a wide range of activities including free indoor swimming, climbing and squash. Another fantastic attraction in the area is the après-ski – there are almost 100 bars and restaurants in total, so you will be completely spoilt for choice!
